Dollar For seeks an experienced, energetic, bilingual, detail-focused Press Relations and Communications Manager to join our team.
Most hospitals offer financial assistance programs that discount or forgive bills for patients based on income. Unfortunately, patients don’t always know about these programs or struggle to navigate them. Dollar For makes these charity care programs known, easy, and fair. We help patients check if they are eligible for financial assistance, prepare and submit applications, and eliminate medical bills. Our services are completely free – no strings attached.
Dollar For’s key communications goals are:
- Educate patients about charity care and market our services to patients, with a particular focus on lower-income, Black and brown, immigrant, and other similarly marginalized communities.
- Support and advance Dollar For’s policy advocacy goals.
Dollar For is a small and growing non-profit. We seek to build a team of employees who want opportunities to grow and stretch with us over time. In the meantime (and forever), we commit to being a place you truly enjoy working with a culture where everyone celebrates the successes, gives and offers supportive feedback, and works together to solve problems and help patients.
Dollar For will begin reviewing applications on January 2, 2025. Interviews and hiring decisions will take place in January.
