Are you serving low or middle-income families or individuals? They probably have medical bills. We can help.
The Affordable Care Act requires nonprofit hospitals to offer charity care programs to keep their tax-exempt status. These financial assistance programs reduce or eliminate medical bills for low-to-middle income patients.
Dollar For helps patients navigate charity care programs. Since 2019, Dollar for has helped patients submit thousands of financial assistance applications and crushed millions of dollars in hospital medical bills.
All of our services are completely free to patients nationwide, including non-residents and undocumented individuals. We are funded through philanthropy and individual donors. We never share or sell personal patient data and only collect information that must be shared with the hospital in order to access charity care. Learn more about how we help patients.
Organizations can refer patients to dollarfor.org/help anytime. There is no limit to how many people can be referred and no cost to the referring organizations or the patients.
